Privacy Policy
Leyline's counsel to supply This page is structured but deliberately unwritten. A privacy policy is a binding legal document under GDPR — it states what Leyline collects, why, on what lawful basis, how long it's kept, and who it's shared with. Nobody outside the company can answer those questions, and inventing them would be worse than leaving it blank.
What this page must cover
- Controller identity and contact details, plus a DPO if one is appointed
- What's collected on the site — analytics, the mailing list, embedded YouTube
- What's collected in-game, including Steam Cloud saves and leaderboards
- Lawful basis for each purpose, and retention periods
- Processors and third-country transfers
- Data subject rights, and how to exercise them
- Supervisory authority for complaints — Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht
The current site links its Privacy Policy to a page called /blank. Whatever
replaces this, it should not be that.
